The other day, the Supreme Court of Russia adopted a decision according to which the movement of someone else’s car, which blocks the movement along the highway or entry/exit, will no longer be considered an offense. We are talking about cases when the car blocked movement is dragged on the cables towards other participants in the movement. It used to be a criminally punishable act.
A few months ago, one carrier company blocked the departure from the bus station with its cars, and cars of other companies were blocked, and could not accept and land passengers. Then the station dispatcher decided to pull the company’s cars on the cable that blocked the stop. As a result, the owners of the contractor’s company filed a local court for the dispatcher, and won the case-the court condemned the court under the article of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Unlawful seizure of a vehicle without the purpose of abduction”. The dispatcher protested this sentence in the Supreme Court of Russia, and completely unexpectedly won the case, the Supreme Court canceled the original sentence.
Thus, the precedent has been created – now any car, deliberately or non -mentioned by the driver, and interfering with the passage, cling to the cable and push aside to the side. There will be no punishment for this. As a rule, all decisions of the Supreme Court have a dominant force over the decisions of local courts. In turn, local courts are guided while making a decision on the decision of the Armed Forces.
Very often, owners of vehicles, especially in megacities, park their cars so that they interfere with the movement of other vehicles. Often the reason for such parking lots are cars malfunctions, tire punctures, etc. D. But skeptics argue that the “powers of this world” will be able to move other people’s cars with impunity, clearing their place for parking.
