Vietnam is far from the richest state of our planet. The largest number of cars in Vietnam is a low or average machine, the same prices in this country. Therefore, the viewers were surprised when they saw such an elite, and most importantly expensive car, like Bentey, namely Continental GT, on television, while not advertising a British brand, but simply in use as an ordinary taxi. Almost all inhabitants of Vietnam have to use public transport services or two -wheeled transport – such as bicycles, mopeds to get from point A to point B, few can afford to order a taxi. Of course, in general, Vietnam is far from a backward country, a taxi call is also possible here, but nevertheless, a video published recently on the GT Spirit portal shows a completely different reality.
Saigon is a city in which this video was shot, it is one of the largest in total Vietnam. During the first frames of the video, a group of people who rush along the road on scooters are shown, the peculiarity of such a means of transportation is a very low purchase price. At the next moment, the incomparable Bentley Continental GT suddenly appears, which belongs to the most elite and expensive serial production machines with coloring, indicating that the machine performs a taxi task. Despite the first impression, the quality of the video itself gives the reason to doubt that this material was really shot and exhibited by the British manufacturer of elite cars. It is possible that we are talking about plagiarism of good production. The author of this video does not indicate why such an expensive car is suddenly used as a type of public transport. It is also possible that this is a draw or an advertising action of any kind. And yet, perhaps this is a real taxi. But in this case, it is difficult to imagine what price they charge for even the shortest passage on this limousine.
Continental GT from the manufacturer Bentley is the most typical representative from the entire series of production of the British company. The volume of its engine 12 V is 6.0 liters, relics are added by double turbing. Total power – about 560 hp, torque can reach as many as 650 nm. 100 km/h this supercar can develop in 4.8 seconds, and the maximum speed can be as many as 318 km/h. Even the most basic model of this machine is not cheaper than 180 thousand euros.
